Crikvenica is a beautiful sea side resort at North Adriatic coast with beautiful sandy and pebble beaches stretching around 10 km from Dramalj to Selce. Across the Crikvenica there is a beautiful island of Krk which can be visited by many tourist boats departuring at one day excursions to the island from the main city harbour. Around on hour drive by car you will need to reach a beautiful Plitvice lakes or visit some of the beauties of Gorski Kotar highlands. But if you prefer just to lay down at the beach and enjoj your vacation you will be more than a happy. Crikvenica is a family town with lots of playgrounds for a kids, and if you have a dog you can enjoj a nice well known dog beach where people like to go with their pets.
